This is old trick in trade. To do things patient does not need for the sake of sales. Most popular medical procedure to sell without clear medical indication? Obviously "Intravenous Drip". Ah you have diarrhea? DRIP! ah you vomit? DRIP! ah you alive? DRIP!
In many cases, drip only be needed if patient is MODERATELY or SEVERELY dehydrated or when patient CANNOT drink. Nonetheless many patient who has mild dehydration and can drink having DRIP sold to them as medical necessity
This is also old trick especially on clinic that write "EMERGENCY" in front of their door? What emergency care that I can rip off from you without your consent even though your condition may or my not warrant it? Medical Observation! As you can see below, a clinic charge medical observation as much as Rp. 800.000 for excoriation wound!
